On the Western Voices World News website, I found this video produced by Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS). It is the story of Lana Zwygart, a business owner with two kids, who's had enough of Southern California after 31 years and is moving out, taking her business...and its jobs...with her.
The problem - illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants have literally overrun Southern California. Everywhere one goes in SoCal, Spanish has become the lingua franca. SoCal is quite literally being colonized right before our eyes - and neither Sacramento nor Washington care.
Lana Zwygart tried to gut it out. She participated in a number of rallies against illegal immigration, including this tea party rally in April 2009. But nothing changed, and she decided she finally had enough.
Some of these people have and will continue to move to Utah. Will they have learned their lesson from California and respect Utah the way it is, or will they vote to change Utah for the worse, and replicate California's problems in the Beehive State?
CAPS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1986 and working to preserve California's future through the stabilization of our state's human population. Since nearly all of California's runaway population growth comes from immigration, CAPS focuses largely on this issue: sponsoring public and media awareness campaigns, working with lawmakers to promote more responsible policies, maintaining a growing network of member-activists, and conducting vital research.
