San Diego Minutemen Protest LDS Church In San Marcos, California Which Was Duped Into Allowing Mexican Consulate To Use Its Chapel For Illegals

The San Diego Minutemen report that they organized a rally against illegal immigration at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ward chapel in San Marcos, California on Saturday June 14th, 2008. Full report posted by Jeff Schwilk on the ImmigrationWatchdog website. Rally also discussed on the ALIPAC Forum. No mainstream media reports available for additional corroboration.

Twenty patriots showed up to protest the San Diego Mexican Consulate using the LDS chapel to issue hundreds of matricula consular cards to alleged illegal aliens. The Minutemen initially felt betrayed by the LDS Church, since they report that they received promises from LDS Headquarters in Salt Lake that they would not allow the Consulate to use the chapel itself, but only the parking lot.

The protestors began at 8 A.M. and stayed til about 12:30 P.M. The event continued until 4 P.M. Motorists on Borden Rd and those who turned down La Cienega to the church were met with a impressive display of Americana. Quite a few suspected Mexican aliens and/or criminals slowed down to turn to the church, but changed their minds and continued on Borden.

But here's the rub. After a conversation with someone identified as a "public relations officer" of the San Diego County Latter Day Saints, the Minutemen found out that the LDS were duped by Maria Arnau, a Mexican consular official who had told them that this was for legal citizens to renew their Mexican passports.

The Minutemen asked at least 20 people getting out of their cars on the street if they were here for a matricula card and every single one of them said yes (or si). The PR person was obviously unhappy with the outcome, is concerned about the impact upon the Church's image, and is unlikely to be suckered again.

This will be very bad news for Maria, Alberto, and reconquista staff since they had already planned to come back to this same church in two months, no doubt to issue 600 more false ID cards to their illegal aliens.

Probably the most disturbing thing the Minutemen found out is that the LDS asked the U.S. State Department yesterday for their opinion on this event to make sure it was “legal”, and the state department issued a statement saying they fully supported issuing the matricula ID to illegal aliens.

As a result of the protest, the San Diego Minutemen report signing up three new recruits - all local residents. People are absolutely fed up with this garbage and it WILL stop soon one way or another!

Commentary: This was a fluke. A local LDS official was suckered by devious, conniving Mexican officials into allowing the use of one of their chapels for illegal activity. The Church's 12th Article of Faith states, "We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law".

Mexican consular officials clearly are complicit in using our country as a dumping ground for all their human refuse. They've proven that they will tell any lie in order to accomplish this mission. This is simply a Hispanic application of the infamous Jewish "Kol Nidre" prayer which observant Jews say on Yom Kippur, in which they proclaim that any oath taken during the upcoming year can be violated with impunity.
